Historical Information: C425 (four-axle 2500hp) diesel-electric locomotives were produced by ALCO between October 1964 and December 1966.

Atlas Silver HO scale C425 is decoder-ready with a NMRA 8-pin plug for DCC. Its many features include a five-pole skewed armature motor with dual flywheels for optimum performance at all speeds, and directional lighting with golden-white LEDs. Additional features include separately-applied wire grab irons, ladders, and drop steps, separately-applied marker lenses, 2 painted crew members, and factory-equipped AccuMate® knuckle.
