The many features of the locomotive include a realistic die-cast under-frame, a five-pole skewed armature motor with dual flywheels for optimum performance at all speeds, directional lighting, golden-white LEDs, and factory-equipped AccuMate® knuckle couplers.

Also featured are manual and automatic notching modes with the ability to change modes on the fly for true realism.
