NRE Genset road-switcher locomotives have been in production since 2006. They are powered by 2-3 700hp independent diesel engines that are used as needed, resulting in reduced emissions and lower fuel consumption.
Atlas HO scale Trainman Plus Silver comes with an NMRA 8-pin plug for easy DCC/Sound decoder installation. The many features of the locomotive include true scale dimensions with accurate details, separately applied grab irons, ditch lights, cab roof details (air conditioners, GPS, antennae), MU cables, realistic die-cast under-frame, and AccuMate® couplers.
